Virtually all hoses have female ends so you may haveunscrewed the bush that the hose fits on to if you think that is not the casethen can you send us a photo and we will try and work it out from there.

Sounds like you may have lost a connector from your shower or it is stuck in the end of your old hose.

If you send a photo of the connection I’ll see if we can get the missing part.

There is nothing to choose between them in terms of quality.

However it is more down to appearance.

In my opinion the logic hose looks better however when it gets older dirt gets stuck in the grooves where as the plastic hose is wipe clean.

Yes they can on occasions be tight .

The only thing I can suggest is pouring a couple of kettles of boiling water over the connection this may expand it just enough to help it release.

I can’t think of a Mira head that has a male push in connection
