A: If the pump/motor stops then it could be seizing or you could have a fault with the speed loom assembly, or a faulty switch to the shower. Check all connections first. Answered 19 days ago | Barrie

Q: Hi - I replaced the cartridge on this last summer. In the last couple of months when we first start the shower it is very hot we have to turn the temperature down a bit and then back up to get it to the right temperature. Many thanks for your help.

A: The things to check firstare.
1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.
2 Then check that the valve on the line tothe shower is fully open.
If these valvesare not fully open then there may not be enough water getting to your shower.
If all this checks out then you have a faulty cartridge.

A: Ifthere is water coming out of the bottom then almost certainly the cartridge isleaking, if this is leaking then it may have leaked down onto the loom assembly this in turn may have shorted out theswitches that control the motor and pump unit Answered 55 days ago | The Doc

A: It needs to be disconnected from the outlet on the right, the screws on the right and left hand side of the pump need removed, also thescrews on the mixing valve body need to be slackened off or removed this should allow enough movementfor the pump to be pulled forward and up away from the valve body. Q: My friend has an issue with their Aqualisa Aquastream shower. There is no flow when the temperature control goes towards the cold setting. Loads of hot pressure. Is this going to be an airlock or the thermostat cartridge?

Q: Having recently fitted one of the above - I havent been overly impressed with the force of the water coming out. Both not and cold supplies have a steady amount of water coming through but not sure whether this is enough or whether there is a way o changing any settings / making it more powerful

A: See if you can get a hold of the hot pipe as it goes into the shower if it is hot then you need a new cartridge for the shower if it is not hot then you have a problem elsewhere Answered 489 days ago | The doc

Q: How the shower used to work:
Turn the dial and water would flow out of the shower head - With or without the pump turned on.
Problem now:
Turn the dial and no water flows out of the shower head with or without the pump turned on ... with power to the pump when the dial is turned on it still turns the pump on ... no water flow.
Appreciate any advice.
Kind regards
Amarjit

A: The Aquastream is not compatible with a combi boiler it is intended to boost a low pressure supply you will have high pressure coming from the combi. Answered 687 days ago | The Doc
