Aqualisa Aquastream noisy shower

Was always a bit noisy when starting on power mode.Cartridge was replaced a few years ago 4?and solved the problem but through time has become gradually noisy again on startup and settles after maybe 5 or 10 seconds. It has got worse in the last few weeks and perhaps the cartridge is failing. Is this a short life and is it possible that the house plumbing layout is aggravating the situation.I have a vent fitted on cylinder. If the cartridge needs replacing would it be advisable to buy a new shower instead of a cartridge.

The noise is more likely to be coming from the motor, this is a fairly common fault, however the motor can go on making a horrendous noise for years.

It is just a case of seeing who will give up first, the motor, or you because of the noise!
