Aquastream post 203

How do I release the control knob, is there a hidden screw through the small slot in the side? Not a plumber but electrician (retired).

Sorry for the delay

 

The on off knob is just held on by friction of a 'O' ring, so two screwdrivers either side of the knob and lever forward if it feels really tight then a kettle of boiling hot  water poured over the knob may expand it gust enough to help it release
