a1 processer not getting hot 1 Answer

Q: Hello my aqualisa quartz shower is not getting hot its been suggested it could be a sticking valve ,have you any idea what this could be without changing all the processer many thanks

! Answer this question
You may have either a faulty controller or a faulty processor. Unfortunately the only way to tell is by substitution.
A: You could try rebooting the processor by switching it of for a couple of minutes. But if this does not work then you can only replace the parts above as no internals are available.

shower pump filters 1 Answer

Q: how easy is it to replace or clean filters in the Aqualisa digital quartz Black model?

Im reasonably handy but am not a plumber

! Answer this question

A: It should be relatively easy just turn the water off at theisolation valves (A quarter turn So the slot is across the pipe not in linewith it) and just undo the nuts so to gain access, there will be a little waterdrain out of the unit and pipes so get an old towel under the nuts.

blue lights stay on on A1 Processor 1 Answer

Q: we have recently changed from open to combi boiler. complete with A1 box, but twice within 10 days the blue lights come on without warning and stay on. I was told to change the setting inside the box from 'combi' to 'full hp' with no difference, fault clears if I re boot mains, good as a temporary option, but worried that this will be an issue with a replacement box. Temp inside box is set to around 45c anyone else had this. Water pressure is good many thanks

Aqualisa processor change 1 Answer

Q: I am led to believe that because I am changing my existing gravity to a pressurised HW water system I will have to change my pumped Aqualisa processor to a none pumped. Is this true, and if so is it just a matter of removing the existing water pipes and data cable from my pumped unit and refitting the same to the none pumped unit? I presume I can use the existing 240V power supply.

No Hot water 1 Answer

Q: Hi

my Aqualisa Quartz A2 (grey box) no longer gives hot water. Shower runs and stops accordingly but no hot water occurs. Turning the cold flow metre off you can hear the pump going but no water. Is this fixable? I bought a new processes (2nd hand) and replaced the shower which worked fine for (30 secs) then after pressing the power button and turning the shower unit off the water continued to flow) is this problem fixable?

Thank you in advance

Aqualisa Standard Digital Processor ( Grey) 223018 1 Answer

Q: When i turn the shower all works fine until the tempreture turn to warm the shower cuts off,Can this processor be repaired if it is where can i get parts for this

! Answer this question

A: Aqualisa regard this as a sealed unit, although you can get into it to fix / regrease the seals, however if it is anything other than dripping from the head you basically need a new processer.

The one thing to remember is that the unit has a 5 year guarantee so check how long it has been fitted before going down the road of replacement.

Aqualisa Digital Shower 1 Answer

Q: My tenants have reported the following fault with the shower and would appreciate help as to the best (and cheapest) way forward re repairing it. The shower head keeps dripping when switched off and the 'unit' in the loft is emitting a noise.

I've contacted Aqualisa and they saying it's the processing unit which need replacing ( not sure yet if grey or black as tenants checking for me!) I think one colour can be repaired. Additionally they're looking for a photo of the 'switch' in shower unit as well. All work carried out for £260! Can this fault be repaired without having the unit replaced.

Should I get a plumber out to have a look or go through Aqualisa. Our own plumber is away at present but due back on Monday.

Many thanks!

Aqalisa Quartz 10.5 1 Answer

Q: Help! My Aqualisa Quartz 10.5 runs for about 5 seconds and then the water stops, about 20 seconds later you hear it trying to start pumping the water out which it does, but again for about 5 seconds again...this is constantly repeated until I decide to switch it off....usually about 3 attempts...Can anyone help or suggest what might be the problem.

! Answer this question

A: The things to check first are.

1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.

2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.

Make sure that the shower head is clean and clear, that the hose isn’t kinked (this can happen just behind the hand set where it is difficult to see) also check the inside of the hose although it can look OK on the outside it could have collapsed internally

If all these are OK then you are going to need a new engine.

A aqualisa digital,processor 1 Answer

Q: No hot water tried adjusting on box unsuccessful

Submitted 655 days ago | by Nobby, DN32 8QA
! Answer this question

A: It is likely that you are going to need a new digital processor, however first check that the inlet filters are clean and clear.

Then if you are handy using a Philips screwdriver you can remove the cover. (don't forget to turn the water off on the inlet pipes) Open the mixed unit by removing the two Philips screws that hold the collar in place.

Inside there is a metal disk (this is the mixer) underneath are two washer that fit over two springs when these stick the water continues to flow.

Remove them by pushing them into the socket they should then pop out. Once out apply silicone grease reinsert and put everything back together.

If none of the above works then unfortunately you will need a new processer.

A: The first place I would look is the inlet filters to see if they are blocked. If not then it could be a faulty processor.Answered 675 days ago | Barrie
water still running 1 Answer

Q: Our shower was working well up to yesterday when my wife put the shower off but water still kept running but at reduced pressure. It's a quartz. How do I fix this?

! Answer this question
Switching the power of to the processor and then back on again sometimes resets it. If this fails it could indicate that the leak is caused by the rubber seals inside the mixer unit in the processor.

but on the shower the thermostat on the shower wall just continues to flash on red .

Is it possibly just blocked filters on the unit or would this not cause that problem ? The unit is only approx 4 years old.
