Aqualisa Digital Shower

My tenants have reported the following fault with the shower and would appreciate help as to the best (and cheapest) way forward re repairing it. The shower head keeps dripping when switched off and the 'unit' in the loft is emitting a noise.

I've contacted Aqualisa and they saying it's the processing unit which need replacing ( not sure yet if grey or black as tenants checking for me!) I think one colour can be repaired. Additionally they're looking for a photo of the 'switch' in shower unit as well. All work carried out for £260! Can this fault be repaired without having the unit replaced.

Should I get a plumber out to have a look or go through Aqualisa. Our own plumber is away at present but due back on Monday.

Many thanks!

Aqualisa regard this as a sealed unit, although you can get into it to fix / regrease the seals, however if it is anything other than dripping from the head you basically need a new processer.

The one thing to remember is that the unit has a 5 year guarantee so check how long it has been fitted before going down the road of replacement.
