Power fault

why does my shower randomly switch itself on if left with power feed left on ? I have returned home on one occasion after a week away, to find the shower has been on for so long, the tiles have fallen from the bathroom wall, and wallpaper has peeled off other rooms in the house. On the second occasion I was woken at 4am to find the shower had switched on again by Itself. On neither of these times had I used the shower prior to the events. Is there an easy answer ?

It would seem like the on/off switch maybe faulty.

These showers do not have serviceable parts so a new engine maybe needed, or you can isolate the shower from the power supply.
