This product works as expected. Quite easy to fit and adjust for an average DIYer. I'm on my 4th one now in 7 yrs (~£45 a time) with a Bristan shower mixer, I probably should have taken more notice of the maintenance instructions I see are available on the Bristan website to descale the cartridge as I'm in a hard water area of W. Sussex. We'll see how long this one goes with care. Otherwise I'm going to change it for a non-thermostatic model; I've had one of these in another en-suite for years without any problem!
