New shower thermostat

The previous thermostat had started to seize up. I removed it about 9 months ago and descaled it, but it hasn't really worked very well. The shower water temperature would vary, especially after turning on; it would go warm, the cold then warm within the first minute. It never allowed the water temperature to go beyond warm.
The new thermostat is brilliant. Easy to fit. We now have hot water! Sensitivity is good, and it now does what it's supposed to do.
For the relatively low cost, it's like having a brand new shower. Certainly recommended in place of older thermostats.
Only one negative comment: the new thermostat design doesn't have a thread on the brass barrel to prevent the plastic limiter ring from moving past warm to hot water (previous version required you to press a button down).
