Gainsborough Energy 1000 8.5Kw leaking

If you take the front cover of the unit it jets water out of a small hole in the face of the white plastic moulding, marked water control valve on attached image, right next to the square section that the temperature control knob engages on to.

It takes a few seconds after start up before it does it. I am not sure if this is repairable or not.
