Fear of the unknown?

I suffered from what was a dripping shower control valve then the head started and after several months it was a waterfall. I looked up the shower which is at least 9 years old and fully expected it to be out of production. The new cartridge including delivery was around £140. It makes you think what if? Then I saw the O ring kit for £17. Well being a pensioner I went for the kit. I was worried about doing the repair but making sure I had the correct tools I did it. No problem follow the video it took under an hour and saved over a £100. The shower has no drips it is not stiff anymore and works like new. Thank you shower doc.
