Leaking flexible hose

Wall Elbow fitted fine with no leakage. However, still no shower as no matter what flexible hose I fit water leaks from between the wall elbow and the flexible shower. The end of the wall elbow to fit the shower hose on is extremely short - only 2 'rings' at back. So still fiddling with !
