Mira 1.5 Bar Twin Ended Shower Pump

Having only just installed the pump, in December 2017, I am not able to comment on the long term performance. It replaced my old Myra PPT3 pump and appears to be performing as well. I was initially concerned, as the PPT3 had 22mm inlets and outlets, and all my distribution pipe work were 22mm. The replacement pump has 15mm inlets / outlets, but this has had no detrimental effects. It is smaller than the original pump, which was a relief. As a consequence of the reduced diameter pipe work, we had to fit reducers to the existing pipe work to match the inlets and outlets of the new pump. This can be problematic If there is insufficient length of pipe between the isolation valves and the supplied flexible hoses. Fortunately, with the experience of our plumber, applying a few tricks of the trade, we managed to fit them into the available length, without having to reposition the isolation valves, with the associated draining down of the system. I suggest that the Supplier highlights this potential problem, so is then able to supply the reducers with the pump. The push fit hose connections are excellent and quick to install. Delivery was excellent, the product received within two days of ordering on line, despite the run up to Christmas.
