Mira 8 shower controls

At the moment I have a Mira 8 shower., The cold supply that feeds it is a independent cold supply from a Saphire Elison Tank 15mm tapping . It has approx. 6 metre head .from tank to showerhead. I am installing a combi boiler at the moment could you tell me if I were to put a 5 gallon tank tank in loft to shower control to feed it same head, would this still work or is there a alternative shower control from mira I can buy. You maybe better replacing the shower at the same time as the combi is fitted, or having PRV`s fitted to the piping to the shower to regulate the pressure to it.
