shower tap identification i

i fitted my shower in 1978.how can i tell which model it is mira 8 or 88.it leaks and i need spares

This is the 88 it should have 88 on the temp knob unless ithas worn off

If you can’t tell from the outside then remove the knobs,the 8 has a small hex in the centre for removing the cover and the 88 the coverits self is hex shaped.
