How to remove casing

I have a leak from the bottom of the casing (not shower head connector).

All diagrams show a fixing screw at the bottom. There is not one on my unit, it seems to clip in. I do not want to break the casing so has anyone any suggestions (date code is '97')

This is a very early model ofv advance and if you look under the bottom of the casing you ewill see a rectangular slot , push a flat bladed screwdriver into this and pull the bottom of the casing towards you and it should release the casing.
