Mira Advance Standard - post 1995 - temperature fluctuations
On startup, very occasionally, you get a bit of flow, then some internal clicking, then a second "beep" and complete shutdown. You can then usually just hit the high button again and the shower will come on like nothing ever happened.
The other issue is that more often than not during showering there will be minor fluctuations in flow rate with an accompanying variation in temperature. It's nothing too serious in itself but the problem is occurring more and more regularly.
I have had the main off - to change some taps - but it's wide open again and the isolator for the shower (assuming there is one somewhere) was not touched. Pressure at the washing machine valve is anywhere from 2-5bar depending on the time of day.
Thanks in advance.
You are really describing two faults here; I think you havea faulty relay board and possibly a faulty flow valve.
My thoughts would be to replace the relay board (This couldsolve both problems) if the relay board doesn’t do it then you will have toalso go for the flow valve.
