pressure drop

when I press the high pressure button there is a sudden rush of water but then this dies away to minimum pressure or the unit shuts down. On pressing the button again the pressure is fine and the shower works fine . This seems to happen only the first time you switch the shower on either in the morning or evening

You may have a faulty flow valve.

I've had this problem. I think that it is due to the outside water pressure fluctuating.

I switched on my shower and with the flow set to high and on setting 6 the water was stone cold and the service light was on.

I decided to recalibrate the unit. this was done by switching off the shower from the pull cord, set the dial knob to minimum (cold)setting.

Turn the shower back on via the cord and press the low flow button and allow to flow on cold for 2minutes.

repeat for the medium and high flow settings.

turn the knob to 5 and allow temperature to stabilze. turn knob back to minimum then slowly through the range to 6, check temperature is stable. select medium setting and check temperature is stabilized and again at the low setting. each change in flow rate should be observed but the temperature should remain stable.

If all is well then the shower has been recalibrated and should work as normal.
