Carbon deposits

Hi there, we've a Mira Elite ST and, on checking the model details etc for a replacement cover, I've found a massive build up of carbon deposits internally. They're everywhere - you cannot see the difference in colour between the live, neutral and earth wires in the connector block. Is this anything to worry about? Everything else it working well - good flow, good heat, etc.

Thanks!
