No hot water

put new flow valve in as water didn't switch off. Now that's OK but no HOT water

Check that the levers in the flow valve are actuating both microswitches when shower is on and full power is selected.
Check the thermal switch on top of the heating can for continuity , if open circuit a replacement is required , it can be ordered online by clicking on the link below.

be careful - make sure power is off before checking or removing cover or parts .

check thermal cut off switch -there should be continuity between both sides of thermal cut off switch-if that's okay check element -again if the elements are okay you will have continuity between live and neutral legs
