Mira shower hose

Bought this to replace the shower hose on my Dad's Mira shower, as I'd had no problems with the replacements I'd ordered from Shower Doctor for my own Triton shower. However, this part proved a bit trickier.
Delivery was great (within a couple of days of ordering).
When I tried to fit the hose, the screw thread into the main shower unit was not very positive (almost felt like it was cross threading), and I couldn't get a decent seal with the new washers. Eventually got it to seal by reverted to the washer from the old hose. Now working fine.
