mira sport going hot and cold

my Mira sport shower has suddenly started going hot then cold then hot and cold, I have cleaned the inline filter which was not to bad.. The water pressure seems fine coming out of shower. Could it be the thermal switch or the main heating tank. Is it also possible to take the heating tank apart and descale the elements? it is a mira sport post 2006

 Turn the shower temperature control from fully cold to fully hot. When you do this slowly there should be a gradual change in temperature and flow. At fully hot you should have not much more than a dribble coming from the hose, and on fully cold you should have a good strong flow. If you do not have this difference, or the flow or temperature is erratic,  then you may have a faulty flow/stabilizer valve.
