This question is regarding Mira Sport Max - Shower Spares

Recently sent in a query on my Mira sport max.water pressure is fine to unit filter clean. It was making a kind of buzzing noise and wasn't getting as hot on the max or medium settings. It is awkward to tell if the overheat light is on as it's illuminated a little by the adjacent max power switch light but looks like it maybe lit. Also now when it's switched on it runs for a short time and turns itself off!

It may be your solenoid valve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you should have a reading of at least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and you need a new valve. (Check the valve in the failed state.) (When it has stopped working!)

If there is power getting to the solenoid and it is not operating then there is a good chance that you have a faulty solenoid.
