This question is regarding Mira Sprint - post 2000 - Shower Spares

Problem with Mira Sprint Purchased in 2003

The unit makes a crumbling noise when heating the water with the water flow becoming jumpy and iregular. Water flow is ok when 'Temp' is set to cold.

The noise is just the water “kettling” in the shower (Old age!) nothing to worry about.

If you are having problems with the water flow.

 

The things to check first are.

1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.

2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.

If these are Ok then you probably need a new flow valve
