use with a gravity water tank

we have terrible water pressure, sometimes no water at all or just a drizzle so to combat this we are having a cold water tank put in our loft to feed our electric shower, i do not want to buy a pumped electric shower as they can be quite noisy, can this pump work with a gravity fed cold water tank in our loft? or is there anything else that works better for this situation? any advice would be great. we do have a combi boiler but the water supply to our houses is not good as they are over 100 yrs old! severn trent can't help us.

Any of the gravity feed single ended pumps in this link should do, eg. http://www.showerdoc.com/salamander-force-20-ps-2-0-bar-positive-head-shower-pump

The only other consideration is whether you have a negative or positive situation regarding the tank and shower.
