A: Firstcheck that the shower head is clean and clear also check the hose, theycan look OK on the outside but they can collapse internally. If these are both OK then there are filters in the shower you will have to remove these and make sure that these are clean.
Make sure you turn the water and power off first! Answered 67 days ago | Barrie

A: http://www.showerdoc.com/shower-spares/mira/MIRA-1539-350-Mira-Flow-Regulator-Assembly-1539-350 It may be your solenoid valve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you should have a reading of at least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and you need a new valve. (Check the valve in the failed state.) (When it has stopped working!) If there is power getting to the solenoid and it is not operating then there is a good chance that you have a faulty solenoid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzJjzWqxesc The video is intended as a guide and does not cover every shower. If you don’t have a multimeter we sell them with a guide on how to use them for checking and testing the various parts of your shower. Apart from helping to fix your shower, they are really useful for checking you have a power supply to appliances, for checking fuses and letting you know much power you have left in batteries (So you will know if they are good or not) and lots of other jobs, in short they are well worth a few pounds http://www.showerdoc.com/installation/electrical-products/SKYTRO-600-005-Digital-Multi-Tester Answered 77 days ago | Barrie

Q: After switching the shower off a considerable amount of water keeps dribbloing out. Does the solenoid when energised allow water through and if that is the case is it the valve not seating properly that is the problem. Can you replace the spring and diapragm separately without buying the whole solenoid assembly.
Thanks

A: If the pump is running and and you have no water then it is likely to be the solenoid See below for how to check. Q: Shower runs ok for 30-40 seconds then flow reduces to a trickle.
Temp control seems ok.
Flow control sounds like it is trying to do something but no effect.
Off/on flow ok but only for a few seconds

Q: Water constantly dribbles from the showerhead even when the shower is off (started doing this a few days ago). The solenoid valve was replaced 12 months ago. Is it likely to be something else or does the valve need replacing again

A: You will find that either the Response holder MIRA-411.23 or logic holder MIRA-450.16 will be the one you require. These holders can be found by entering the part number in to the search bar at the top right of our homepage or by going in to the shower accessories tap and slider brackets on the homepage Answered 653 days ago | SD

Q: We have had the Mira Event XS for approx 2 years and all has been well until about 4 months ago it started to play up.
Turn the shower on to a average temperature and it works fine, as soon as you turn the temparture up, the shower tries too pump harder but the water decreases in pressure and the temperature drops to cold.
Turn the temperature back to average again and is back to normal, can you help.

Q: Hi
We have the above shower unit, about 3 years old now. Recently when we try and take a shower the water comes through ok but starts to get very hot. When you try and turn the temperature knob to allow more cold water into the mix, the cold water eventually stops flowing. In the end no hot or cold water comes outs the shower head, you can just hear the motor running. When you turn the knob back down to allow more hot water, it comes out very hot, but once again no cold water flows.
Please can you help ?
Thankyou
