A: Sounds like a faulty, on/off switch, again. To test this you need to try the switch with the cover off. If it wont work this way then it is the switch again, if it does work then it is the button on the cover. Answered 36 days ago | Barrie

Q: Our shower continues to drip water after being turned off. This isn't a big leak but it seems to continue, leaking around a litre in 24 hours. It's obviously more than just water left in the shower head. Does this sound like the solenoid valve needs to be replaced?

A: If there is no water and you can hear the motor running then you probably have a faulty solenoid valve. If the water is running and there is no noise from the motor then you probably have a faulty motor and pump unit. If there is no water and no noise you may have a faulty switch, which is part of the wiring loom Answered 204 days ago | The Doc

Q: Shower working normally, then water dies away. Tried again but no water. Tried a further time a few hours later and all seemed to be working OK. Then water died away to zero flow, but pump still running. Checked filters (OK), read your site and checked solenoid (has a resistance of c. 1 MegaOhm). I am assuming a faulty solenoid has a higher resistance than your quote for a working one (c. 3.5 K Ohm).
Is this correct ?

A: It may be your solenoid valve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you should have a reading of at least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and you need a new valve. (Check the valve in the failed state.) (When it is not working!) If there is power getting to the solenoid and it is not operating then there is a good chance that you have a faulty solenoid. If you don’t have a multimeter we sell them with a guide on how to use them for checking and testing the various parts of your shower. Apart from helping to fix your shower, they are really useful for checking you have a power supply to appliances, for checking fuses and letting you know much power you have left in batteries (So you will know if they are good or not) and lots of other jobs, in short they are well worth a few pounds http://www.showerdoc.com/installation/electrical-products/SKYTRO-600-005-Digital-Multi-Tester Answered 365 days ago | The Doc

Q: We have just bought a house with the power shower in the en-suite. It is fed by a hot water tank. The hot water is on all the time to ensure we have it whenever we want. The shower will run for awhile and then when I am trying to rinse my hair ( it always happen to me, not my partner) the shower makes a really funny noise like the pump is struggling and then it stops and there is no hot water or any water coming out. Even switching it off and then back on does not make any difference. This has happened both when I've been in the shower for a couple of minutes and also when just starting the shower up. There is no set pattern to it. What is wrong with it?

Q: This morning the oval on/off switch failed to operate the shower and it feels as though the 'spring' or mechanism behind the button has failed. The button is now sitting in what should be the on position but the shower is not operating. I have tried to remove the casing to look behind but can't seem to get the casing off as it seems to be fixed at the bottom. I have removed the 2 top and 1 bottom screws but no success. How do you suggest I get this sorted? Many thanks

Q: Shower will not stay on unless one keeps power button depressed. Power on/off switch is not faulty as I have checked it with power off. However, the power switch will not stay on when power restored. It looks like an auto shut off is taking place. What could be causing this?

You will need to order item number 6 from the Event XS spares diagram which is part number MIRA-453.05, This is the cover assembly white with the button attached as the button is not available separate. Answered 631 days ago | SD

Q: Our shower has no hot water pressure, when turned to cold water the pressure is as expected but when switched to hot water the pressure is minimal with water coming out with a spitting effect. My mum called out a plumber who refered us to your company and said it may be the selanoid part?
