Q: My Myra Supreme shower has the low pressure light on and there is no water coming out of the shower head.

A: Usually this would mean that you have a faulty flow valve. But Mira do recommend changing the pcb as well as this could be faulty thus creating the same symptoms, and to circumvent a possible fault occuring in the future with the unchanged part. Answered 102 days ago | Barrie

Q: The overheat is coming on during showering - anything over temp setting 4 and it switches in and out - at 4 in the winter water is warm but not comfortably hot.
No low pressure light showing.
What is should I test and order - are parts available - replaced solenoid a couple of years ago.
Thanks

A: We are having a problem at the moment with our ticketing systemit is running words together, we have people working on it!! The things to check first are.
1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.
2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.
If these valves are not fully open then there may not be enough water getting to your shower to open / close the safety device that allowspower through to the elements About the only thing for theSupreme that is not obsolete is the solenoid valve Answered 116 days ago | The Doc

Q: I recently replaced my Mira 8.4k Supreme (after 15 years good service) with a Mira 9.5k Enthuse. I assumed (naively) that this modern, more powerful shower would have at least as good a flow rate as the Supreme. I was told by Mira that the difference is they have different flow rate valves, but in particular, that the 8.4 Supreme was thermostatically controlled. Is this the correct?

A: Given 25° temperature rise the 9.5kw should deliverabout 5lts pre min and the 8.4kw should deliver about 4 ¼ lts per min Theold Supreme was not thermostatically controlled Answered 116 days ago | The DOC

Q: I'm not sure if this is a variant of the Supreme but it looks like the Supreme in the diagram. Water is pouring out of the inside of the shower when it is switched on and I wanted to open the cover to see where it is coming from. I see one response says remove the lower knob, but there is no obvious way of doing this. I would be grateful if you could advise me.

A: You just lever off both knobs the cover retaining screw isbehind the bottom knob. However if it is the TS2 you have then all the parts areobsolete
The easiest change over is the Mira Advance these are not adirect replacement but they are the closest.

Q: I believe the Mira Supreme shown here is a later version of my Miralec TS3 4/7KW shower and that it uses the same chasis.
Can you please tell me if any of the three Flow Regulator Assemblies 857.28,857.29 or 857.30 listed here are suitable replacements?
From the photos, the 857.28 looks like it is the same size and fittings except for the different spline on the shaft. However, both knobs are broken anyway so I assume the knob kit you offer here would fit the new valve?
Kind regards

A: I can’t argue with your logic regarding the knobs and the flow valve, however I am sorry to say that I can’t be certain that the newer flow regulator will fit. Answered 282 days ago | The doc

Q: Thank you for your reply, I have noted from showerdoc youtube video how to test the solenoid valve, looking for resistance test in excess of 3.4 ? Excuse my ignorance is the flow valve the same as the flow valve regulator assembly noted in the parts list above or the relief valve assembly noted above. Or different part altogether. Lastly ,how do you test it? Your continued patience appreciated

A: Thank you for your reply, I have noted from showerdoc youtube video how to test the solenoid valve, looking for resistance test in excess of 3.4 ? Yes 3.4k ohms
Excuse my ignorance is the flow valve the same as the flow valve regulator assembly noted in the parts list above Yes “flow valve” “ flow valve regulator” same part
or the relief valve assembly noted above.
The relief valve is a safety device on the side of the heating tank
Or different part altogether. A different part altogether
Lastly ,how do you test it? Which part do you want to test?
Your continued patience appreciated No Problem! Answered 282 days ago | Anonymous

A: The things to check first are.
1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.
2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.
The other two possibilities are a faulty flow valve (unfortunately obsolete for the 8.4 model) or a faulty solenoid valve.

Q: During the recent cold weather we have had problems with the temperature light coming on and have been unable to use the shower as the water remains at a cold temperature. Could this mean a fault or the cold weather having an affect on the temperature.
