If all the filters and the valves to the shower are open, and you are getting water up to the Mira Thermostatic Valve then this part is where the fault lies.

Are you certain that the noise is coming from the pump (It is just possible that the noise is coming from the mixing valve)

However if it is coming from the pump then it sounds like you need a new motor and pump unit, you may get away with just fitting a new set of brushes to the motor.

We would always advise changing the complete motor and pump unit however the brushes are much cheaper.

If it drips all the time then that would suggest that the thermostatic mixing valve is faulty.

If it only drips when the shower is in use then it may be just a seal kit for the shower head you require.

Is the motor still running or has it stopped.

If it is still running then I would check the filters.

If it has stopped then you are going to need a new motor and pump unit, or you may get away with fitting new brushes
