I am afraid I don’t know of anyone other than ourselves thathave spares for this and the only spare that is available is the ‘O’ ring pack,everything else is obsolete.

Unfortunately I know nothing with 80mm centres.

Yes you need to turn the water off before the plate.

The three pipes are the hot and cold inlets and the mixed water outlet  (The outlet is always in the middle)

So when someone refers to the pipe centers they mean from the centre of the hot to the centre of the cold.

 

The standard now is 150mm but 120mm too 180mm is fairly common, some of the older showers have centers as small as 100mm.

It  sounds like the knob is worn and it is no longer fitting on to the splines  

The Supamix shower is obsolete now and the only spares available is the seal kit.

A replacement will depend on your current pipe centres, They are usually 150mm but i would double check the measurements from the centre of the hot pipe to the centre of the cold pipe and that will give you your pipe centres!

What is the centres of the inlet pipes Most showers at the moment are 150mm give ir take a few mm for adjustment
