  • Important Information


    • Some of the usual signs for determining whether the carbon brushes are worn are listed below:

      • Interference with your TV or Radio when shower is in operation.
      • Grinding noises from the motor when in use.
      • The springs in the brass brush carrier are being exposed in the motor.
      • If the units stops and starts.
      • If the unit stops mid flow and tapping the shower starts it again.
      • Turning the knob from left to right and the shower starts again.
      • Black carbon deposit inside the shower

      having never opened a a shower in my life, I called the shower doc who suggested my problem just be the carbon brushes ! I ordered them and bingo! It was! I saved myself £300 on a new shower too! Happy days Rating:

      EEEzy, or easy, it matters not. Adding the postage it took the cost of these brushes (now officially obsolete) to about 10% of the cost of a not quite as good product. These have now extended the life of my Supajet Bodyline shower and saved me the cost of a new shower and the associated installation charges which would probably have doubled the cost before any tiling accidents are taken into consideration.

      Product video shows how simple it is to fit the product and is a fair reflection. Fiddly but that is acceptable. Truly cost effective, efficient and an excellent replacement product.

      I do not normally write review because it takes a lot to impress me. Saving this much money and enabling me to keep a shower product that I have yet to experience an equivalent to in a domestic environment is awesome, not just fab.

      Thanks Shower Doc. I was told that i needed to replace the shower pump as Mira did not supply the bushes separately, but after a quick e-mail to yourselves you told me that the brushes would fit. I ordered them on a thurs evening and they were in my letter box here in Ireland on Monday morning, and in my shower 10min later.

      The problems get solved 10 July 2011
      I was assured thatchy were easy to fit - and indeed they were. The whole operation from taking the covers off to chugging the brushes and then reassembling the covers was about 45 minutes an the shower has performed very well since.
