Q: My Triton Aquasenation always makes a noise when turned on first thing in a morning, the flow is weaker whilst it makes the noise. After about 10 - 15 seconds the flow is normal and the noise stops. I'm expecting it to pack up at some point soon. Any advise on what part could be failing?

A: This is down to lack of water. It could be http://www.showerdoc.com/shower-spares/triton/TRITO-83305320-Triton-Pipe-Inlet-Elbow-(c-w-Filters---Check-Valves)-83305320
and the water is flowing back down the supply pipes, so when you start the shower it takes some time to get it back. Answered 35 days ago | Barrie

Q: Hi
Shower stopped working after roughly six years of daily use. I checked the resistance of the solenoid and it's 3.7 ohms. When I check the voltage across the terminals, I get zero volts. When I turn shower on, I can hear what sounds like the motor but it looks like power is not getting to the solenoid. Also, alot of shoot when I take the cover off.
Thanks

A: Ifthere is no power getting to the solenoid then it is most likely to be the potentiometerthat is faulty which is part of the front cover assembly. Howeverit may be worth checking that there is power going in to and out of the PCBthere is just a chance that it could be faulty. Answered 54 days ago | The Doc

A: http://www.showerdoc.com/TRITO-82300430-Triton-Solenoid-Assembly---Power-Shower-82300430 It may be your solenoid valve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you should have a reading of at least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and you need a new valve. (Check the valve in the failed state.) (When it has stopped working!) If there is power getting to the solenoid and it is not operating then there is a good chance that you have a faulty solenoid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzJjzWqxesc The video is intended as a guide and does not cover every shower. If you don’t have a multimeter we sell them with a guide on how to use them for checking and testing the various parts of your shower. Apart from helping to fix your shower, they are really useful for checking you have a power supply to appliances, for checking fuses and letting you know much power you have left in batteries (So you will know if they are good or not) and lots of other jobs, in short they are well worth a few pounds http://www.showerdoc.com/installation/electrical-products/SKYTRO-600-005-Digital-Multi-Tester Answered 78 days ago | Barrie

Q: Hi There,
I turned on the shower as normal with no issues however when I turn the shower off, the water stop runnning but the motor controlled by the flow nozzle continues to run. (Motor only stops running by cutting the mains)
On further investigation I noticed that the flow button does not vary the flow anymore, but simply acts as either turning the water on or off.
Do you know the cause and solution to this problem?

A: You may well have a problem with potentiometer which is partof the front cover assembly. If you pull the plug out from the PCB and the shower stopsthen you can be fairly certain that, that is the problem. Answered 157 days ago | The doc

Q: The water in the shower I have won't stop running after I turn off the shower. I was wondering which part would there need to be replaced or if it would be cheaper to replace the shower. Even after turning off the power to the shower the water keeps running. The only way I can turn if off is by turning off the water in the hot press. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Q: My shower is dripping slightly from the head and also from the screw in the underside of the casing.
It's not loads of water but is enough to investigate as it shouldn't really be dripping.
Even with no power to the unit it is dripping...
I havn't taken it apart yet, but i'm thinking maybe solenoid assembly? possibly some dirt in it stopping it shutting ?

A: You need to switch the power off remove the cover and see if you can see where the leak is coming from. The most likely place is the mixing valve. If you are ordering parts or need to get back to us the AS2000 T (thermostatic) and the AS2000M (manual) are different showers. Answered 506 days ago | Anonymous
