This item does not come with any wiring, it comes as you see in the diagram and is fitted to the existing wiring. Answered 77 days ago | Barrie

A: I would not use the shower until you have checked the internalwiring. Any loose connections should be tightened and burnt wires replaced. Answered 105 days ago | bar-s

Q: Hi
Got this shower and the pump seems to have gone, only get warm water on the lowest pressures. I see you recommend Triton T70z 8.5kW as a replacement but say "it's not close but should be easy" to fit.
Is there any that are close in layout? Never changed a shower before but want to try to do this one so would like it to be as easy as possible!
Thanks

Q: Hi, We have this shower in our bathroom and recently it's started to "play up". For a while it's been producing an awful amount of scale and black debris (almost like grit) in the shower pipe - as this is isn't present from running other taps / water faucets from the same pipe it leads me to believe it must be the heating element in the can? Is this susceptible to scale and build up? It's got to the point now that even with daily "scrubbings" of the shower head there's virtually no water coming out and when you run it without the shower head (i.e. hose straight into the shower tray) there is an instant pile of "grit". Would a replacement can help this at all? It's also now affecting the pressure which is constantly low and very very hot.
Thanks,
Al.

A: Yesa new can will probably help. Thisshower is a fairly cheap unit and can therefore build up lime scale the betterunits have a cold water flush when you shut down and this prevents lime scalebuild up Answered 209 days ago | The doc

Q: Hi,
After approx 2 minutes of running the shower, the water goes gradually hot and cannot be controlled from the control knob. If I swith it off and turn it back on it only comes hot water. If I switch the shower Off from the main switch I can get cold water and then gradually goes hot. Can you tell me which part is broken.
Thaks,
C.

A: Check that shower hose is not kinked or collapsed internally and the shower head is clear. Check incoming mains water stopcock and any isolation valve in the feed to the shower are eully open. Check with your supplier if there has been any reduction in water supply flow or pressure. Check that the gauze filter in the inlet to the solenoid valve is clear. If all above are ok then it is likely to be the stabiliser valve at fault and replacement can be ordered online by clicking on the link below. http://www.showerdoc.com/shower-spares/triton/TRITO-82600720-Triton-Stabilising-Valve-Assembly---7kw-82600720 Answered 223 days ago | Alastair

Q: Shower was working fine (usually run it on dual power setting at number 3) suddenly it seems to have no heat and you have to turn it to about 7 to get luke warm water out of it, but the flow is so slow it only dribbles, and single/dual power setting makes no difference? my thinking is that one of the heater elements has gone? any ideas, thanks.

A: It may be a faulty element in the heating tank (there are two, three in most 10kw showers) you can check them with a multi meter you should have a reading of around 12>18 ohms. If you have power to the elements and no heat it's probably the elements, no power to the elements then it's probably a micro switch. If you don’t have a multimeter we sell them at £10 each with a guide on how to use them for checking and testing the various parts of your shower. Apart from helping to fix your shower, they are really useful for checking you have a power supply to appliances, for checking fuses, letting you know much power you have left in batteries (so you know if they are dud or not) and lots of other jobs, in short they are well worth the £10. http://www.showerdoc.com/installation/electrical-products/SKYTRO-600-005-Digital-Multi-Tester Answered 258 days ago | The doc A: It may be a faulty element in the heating tank (there are two, three in most 10kw showers) you can check them with a multi meter you should have a reading of around 12>18 ohms.
