This question is regarding ShowerForce 1500-XT - Shower Spares

Loses Power

All sounds very familiar.



My 1500XT will start as normal, but then quickly reduces to a trickle. The motor still sounds like it is working hard. This happened 12 months ago, and cured itself



In addition, there is little control over temp. Full hot to fully cold makes very littel difference, especially after the shower has started



Any ideas?

Sounds like the filters in the temperature cartridge may be blocked this means replacing the mixing valve.

NT regard the mixing valve as a sealed unit,  however it is possible to remove the temperature cartridge to get to the filters, the problem is that it can sometimes be difficult to get the  valve to reseal properly.
