Pump continues to work when taps are off.

It may be air in the system as it sometimes stops when turning a tap on and off a few times; how would I clear air from pump?

It is unlikely to be air however if you switch the pump off and open the hot tap it should run steadily with no coughing or spluttering and the same for the cold.

The more likely fault is the flow switch actuators sticking these are the torpedo shaped parts in part 5 and 10

Flushing the pump out may remove anything that is causing them to stick.

The other problem is the flow switch sensors sticking part 6

You can check if these are faulty by removing them from the pump one at a time, if you move them away from the actuator then the pump shouldn’t run.

It is unlikely, however if you move both of them away and the pump continues to run then you have a faulty PCB
