A: We are having a problem at the moment with our ticketing systemit is running words together, we have people working on it!! I think the pressure relief device has blown. It’s a safety device on the bottom of theheating tank. It is fairly easy to replace however there isusually something that causes it to blow, often a kink in the hose or the showerhead isblocked, so check this before fitting the new PRD. http://www.showerdoc.com/TRITO-83301330-PRD-(Pressure-Relief-Device)-and-'O'-ring-(Pair)?ss=prd&pg=2 Answered 117 days ago | The Doc

A: Iam not sure I understand what you mean, do you mean that the shower hose doesn’tleak when you remove the head .....If this is the case then it is probably justthe hose that needs tightened or a new hose washer fitted. Answered 117 days ago | The doc

A: The things to check first are.
1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.
2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.
If these valves are not fully open then there may not be enough water getting to your shower to open / close the safety device that allowspower through to the elements The first things to check are: 1 That the main valve coming into your house is fullyopen. 2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower isfully open. If these valves are not fully open then there may not be enoughwater getting to your shower to open the pressure switch therefore nopower will get to the elements and the unit will show lowpressure. Forgetting about the temperature turn the shower from fully hotto fully cold at fully hot you should have not much more than a dribble comingfrom the hose and on fully cold you should have a good strong flow, if you donot have this difference then you may have a faulty flow/stabilizer valve Finally when you turn thewater on, the top of the flow valve should rise, there is a plastic actuator ontop of the valve this should press against a micro switch at the bottom of thePCB make sure they are properly aligned. If all these are OK then youprobably have a fault with your PCB. The checks don’t guarantee that you have a faulty power PCBhowever they do eliminate just about every thing that could cause the lowpressure fault and so the only thing left is the PCB. 1 That the main valve coming into your house is fully open.
2 Then check that the valve on the line to the shower is fully open.
If these valves are not fully open then there may not be enough water getting to your shower to cool it properly the overheat safety devicewill turn the power off until it cools Then it all starts again Make sure that the shower headis clean and clear, that the hose isn’t kinked (this can happen just behind thehand set where it is difficult to see) also check the inside of the hosealthough it can look OK on the outside it could have collapsed internally
See below for how to test the element. It maybe a faulty element in the heating tank (there are two, three in most 10kwshowers) you can check them with a multi meter you should have a reading ofaround 12>18 ohms. If you have power to the elementsand no heat it's probably the elements, no power to the elements thenit's probably a micro switch. If you don’t have amultimeter we sell them at £10 each with a guide on how to use them forchecking and testing the various parts of your shower. Apart from helping to fix yourshower, they are really useful for checking you have a power supply to appliances, for checking fuses, letting you know much power you have left in batteries (so you know if they are dud ornot) and lots of other jobs, in short they are well worth the £10. http://www.showerdoc.com/installation/electrical-products/SKYTRO-600-005-Digital-Multi-Tester If it is a faulty element then you will need a new heating tank(Part 5 or 6) depending on the rating of the existing tank. http://www.showerdoc.com/trito-parent-84-triton-martinique Answered 117 days ago | The doc

Q: the showerhead holder does not hold the shower head very well as the head pops out despite being properly located, it would appear that the recess requires to be slightly larger in order to recess the shower head deeper into the holder, Is it possible to purchase a slightly wider locator?

Q: When I switch the shower on it appears to be leaking from somewhere around the top of the stabiliser valve. However, if I switch the shower off and then back on again, the leak stops and doesn't start again while it is running. Any ideas, and how easy is it to replace the likely faulty parts?

Q: Is this model(and water/electric inlet hole) a direct swop for the original Opal model?
If the water/electric inlet hole is in a different position can you suggest an alternative so as to avoid unsightly gaps etc and the re-tiling

Q: the shower has stopped working.
The pressure light comes on immediately and no water passes through. What could be the problem as there has been no reduction in water pressure?

If these valves are not fully open then there may not be enough water getting to your shower to open the pressure switch therefore no power will get to the elements and the unit will show low pressure. The other possibility is a faulty Thermal Cut Out
A faulty TCO will have no continuity across the two terminals (The black thing on top of the heating tank)
Therefore a good TCO will have power at both connections and a faulty TCO will have power at only one.
(The function of the TCO is, if the water over heats it cuts the power off to the elements) See Video. http://www.youtube.com/user/showerdoc#p/u/2/_zi8JbEMYMs The checks don’t guarantee that you have a faulty power PCB however they do eliminate just about every thing that could cause the low pressure fault and so the only thing left is the PCB. A: The Triton Martinique has had several different holder over the years and most of them have been superseded by others. They used to come with the 83306190 or the 22010980 , This 83313470 is the replacement and is used for most 22mm diameter triton rails so this would fit and its quite robust. This part can be found via this link provided - http://www.showerdoc.com/trito-83313470-triton-showerhead-holder-22mm-white-83313470 Answered 324 days ago | LC
