Hi hope you can help i have a customer who has the 'old type' concealed shower valve..its 3/4 years old...i bought a new shower hoping to do straight swap of cartridge but not compatible...will this item fit..cheers Justin

If the shower is an old Amala or other concentric mixer of this type then yes, but check the existing cartridge with our picture. Sometime a clean and lube of the parts solves the faults with this shower.
