Thermostatic Spring

Hello, I have a Triton dart 2 and a Sentiment, neither get hot, on a combi boiler, hot inlet v hot to touch but not mixing within bulkhead. Took cartridge out of the Dart and looked like this one and stripped to clean and there is no spring! The piece that looks like a spinning top is just free floating - I presume the thermostatic spring/coil is the critical component for mixing control and without it the shower is useless? I suspect the previous homeowner has tinkered with problematic showers and maybe fitted some second-hand units, is there any way to buy the spring?

Triton maybe able to supply you with this part , as unfortunately we can on supply the whole assembly.
