Whirring noise in body of unit

This noise occurs when water is being supplied to head. Which part would cause this and will shower cease to function because of this?

This is difficult to diagnose without actually hearing it but the most likely cause is the stabiliser/solenoid valve which can be ordered online by clicking on the link below.
