Replacement Triton LP Care Shower Cartridge

When the thermostatic control knob parted company with the shower after 15 years of regular use, it was good to be able to find the replacement part and plenty of information on its fitting on this site. I called Shower Doctor to check this was the correct cartridge, and ordered it over the phone. For a modest fee, it was delivered the following day as promised. Installation was exactly as I had expected. The trickiest part is keeping the four rubber seals in place while the cartridge is eased into position. For this I followed others' advice, using superglue to hold the seals in their slots on the cartridge, and applying plumbers' grease to the seals to help slide the cartridge in place. Am now looking forward to another 15 years of fault-free showering. Many thanks.
