Shower is quite old, and I feared the worst when water poured out of the bottom..... but it turned out to be the pressure relief valve. Shower Doctor came up trumps, with a helpful video, and then delivered the parts in double quick time. Just a little bit of DIY later and .... hey presto everything working fine again!
