Exact replacement part

This is the second part I've had to replace on our aging shower, but as with the heater I previously bought from ShowerDoc, this is an exact match.

Fitting this required the circuit board to be removed, and as well as the fixing screw at the top of the board there's also one hiding under the L-shaped high current conductor. I removed the three high current wires from the left of the PCB as this made it easier to keep it out of the way.

I also had the remove the heater unit and the heater outlet (where the hose to the shower head screws on).

I also used LS-X to seal the joints between the inlet valve assembly, this regulator, and on the heater inlet and outlets.

The water flow seems slightly reduced compared to the original regulator, but otherwise the shower is now working fine again. The reason for replacing the original regulator was that it had been leaking around the piston that pokes out of the top and water had been getting into the circuitry and causing the shower to cut out.
