Leaking pressure diaphragm in stabiliser

Reviewed 11 years ago by Peter Stretton
My valve was leaking from the top joint, presumably the diaphragm had failed. I watched the Youtube video on how to change this valve and thought it was safe to do. I was worried about disturbing the inlet pipe but releasing the heater and inlet solenoid gave enough movement to remove and replace the stabiliser. O rings all in place, no leaks and worked well. I can't see why the old stabiliser was leaking since when I took it apart the diaphragm was intact. Maybe I should have tried that first but the leakage onto live electrics was scary!
