Aqualisa shower pump type 654 DE - serial no. 018924 - 3 bar

I have inherited one with the house I have recently bought. It is not very effective. I do not know how old it is (the house is 18 yrs old). I am trying to find out its age, eg when was this pump discontinued, before I decide whether to buy a new one, or attempt a repair. Can you assist please - & also suggest a suitable alternative? Thanks

This pump could well be 18 yrs or more old.

There is nothing that is in any way a direct replacement

I would suggest that you look at  the following

If you can send a couple of pictures of the pump setup then we may be able to suggest more.
