right replacement

Hi I have been asked to replace a mixer like this but the outlet is under the mixer and goes to a hose, is this the right one and i just have to alter the outlet? please find a photo attached of the mixer to be replaced

This is the shower , with a down facing outlet , whereas yours goes out the back.
