Hydramax cartridge

I am confused as I look up Hydramax as the instruction book and shower badge indicate but I keep getting refered to Aqualisa. Every thing appears identical apart from the name badge and the cartridge band colour code, Aqualisa bands are Black and Blue whereas mine has a Green band. The serial No is T1417, is this a thermostatic valve?

I have a 4 year old Hydramax shower and it is dripping. Can it be dismantled for descaling the valve? or can descaler be run into the valve if removed?

Are you able to enlighten me as to what I have got and if it can be repaired?

Your response would be most appreciated.

The shower you have is an Aqualisa Hydramax bar mixer which is a rebadged Aquarian.
It cannot be descaled and a new cartridge is required , it can be ordered online by clicking on the link below.
