Transformer for Aqualisa Power Shower

My old shower installed in 2007 is an Aqualisa Aquastream. The transformer is connected to a fused RCD in my airing cupboard next door to the bathroom. The white cable from the transformer (with white, red and black wires) runs under my bathroom floor tiles and up to the shower. If I got a new Aqualisa Aquastream to replace the old one, rather than install a new transformer (Type 243501 IPX4), could I use the existing Aqualisa transformer (Type 171001, IP55, which converts 230/240V at 50/60Hz to an output of 14V or 18V ac : 6.2A max) to avoid having to take up the floor tiles in the bathroom? (I have looked at a photo of the latest Aqualisa Transformer Type 243501 and its label does not show any output rating for volts and amps, only an input rating. And the Aqualisa installation brochure does not give any figures either). Help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry to dodge this a bit but I am fairly certain that this won't work, however I would check email Aqualisa's technical department just to make sure.
