Leaking, squealing and now stopped altogether

My shower was leaking from the shower head for some time and squealed intermittently. The pump has now stopped working and dripping from the bottom of the unit. Does this shower need to be condemned or will replacement parts still be a viable option ie my guess is pump and cartridge?

You may have two faulty parts.

One being the cartridge and the other the loom assembly due to the leaking cartridge, which will stop the pump/ motor from switching on.

Replacing both may rectify the fault.
