Pump does not initially turn on

Hi, My shower has developed an issue. When I turn it on the water runs through, but only at a reduced rate. Then, of its own accord, after a couple of minutes the pump kicks in and the shower works fine at the full flow rate? Prior to this there has been some gentle leakage from the shower unit after use which would stop after a few minutes? Any help would be great, Thanks.

You need to check to see if the ,

is leaking as it may need changed and may have caused the ,

to become faulty also.
