Aqualisa Aquastream shower

I recently moved into a house where the above shower is installed, but no documentation was left by the previous owner. The shower always made a very loud rushing noise when switched up to power mode. But now it makes the noise all the time even when the water is switched off, and the only way I can stop the noise is by switching off the master switch in the airing cupboard. Please can you help, as I cannot use the shower at all now.

The wiring loom maybe stuck in the on position, and this is sometimes due to a leaking cartridge.
You can remove the loom to check if this is the case and also check the cartridge at the same time.
